Excellent fast service and delicious

Nothing special...which is a good thing in this instance. It doesn't pretend to be anything special;it just serves up some good old old-school breakfast food! I ordered bacon, eggs, home-fries and a side of hash, and that's exactly what I got. Nothing fancy. Just tasty, filling food!

Great spot. Seriously good value. Burger is awesome. And the links sausages taste just like denny gold back home in Ireland for anyone travelling or living there and missing the taste. Def would check it out again next I'm in Boston!

Just your basic breakfast spot..nothing really stands out. Food doesnt taste bad just basic flavors.

Lives steps away from Buddy’s and always wanted to try it out because it just looks super authentic and cozy. It didn’t disappoint, the veggie omelet tasted very good and eggs were fresh. Bagel was a little hard. My favorite was the home fries side dish, very delicious, crispy on the outside and tender inside, a must try. Wouldn’t be my daily go-to, but once in a while visit on a lazy Sunday is more than satisfying. The owners clearly know most of their patrons and carry great conversations. Conclusion: a very authentic American diner with less than 20 stools.

My kind of diner. No frills. Eggs are eggs, toast is toast, pancakes are pancakes. Prices are good, cash only. Few seats but if you go when the regulars are there it's not a problem. Ordered the #7: 2 eggs, meatloaf, homefries, toast and coffee. Potatoes were nice and crispy. Meatloaf was nice and light. Would go again.

Really great tiny 15-seat or so diner. Cash only with nice cheap prices. This is as old-school as it gets. My favorite is the unique hash.

Very homy and it gives you warmth there in middle of nowhere in Somerville. They are exactly located at the right place for me and it gave me lots of courage and love before going into job interviews at the city center. Appreciate the warmth they provide in food and services. Cheap and tasty and homy.

True diner experience. Your coffee cup is never empty, and meals are made fresh to order. Excellent service as well!

A nice place for a quiet late breakfast over the weekend. Love the sweet potato pancakes, the omelettes and Bruce's special. The only qualm that I have with the place is the wait time but I love sitting around and admiring the signs that they have put up. The food is definitely worth the wait and would keep going back every other weekend.

This is a classic old school traditional American diner. Has a very cozy yet rustic ambience. I was looking for such a comfortable place for some time, and I think I have found it. Remember to carry enough cash, as it is "Cash Only". I didn't know that, fortunately had enough cash though. Prices are reasonable, and portions are ideal for brunch or heavy lunch. I ordered Buddy's omelette, which had veggies, mushrooms and beacon. It was served with house fries and toasts. Everything was fresh and hygienic. I look forward to visit again!

Oh so delicious! I love this place. I went several times. It's a small air stream trailer turned diner. They are cash only and have limited seating but the experience is amazing as well as the food. If you like getting away from your typical mainstream restaurant this is the perfect place to go. The chef was so entertaining to watch as you wait for your breakfast, any other person would crumble under the pressure however he handles it with ease and grace really awesome experience.

Frequent visitors to this classic gem. Prices are fair, food is fresh, portions are great. Their bacon is really high quality - they spend extra $ on it, and it shows. Ugly location but we happily send everyone we know here.

We saw this cute shop while walking one evening and decided to stop for breakfast the next morning. What a great find! The staff was very friendly and so were the other customers. The food isn't fancy, but it is fresh and cooked to request with more choices than imagined.

A small dinner, good breakfast for $10 or less. If you sit at the counter the food is cooked right in front of you. I order coffee, eggs, bacon, good home fries and wheat toast.

Classic old-style, one of a kind diner, where everything on the menu has been refined over its 64 years of business. Room for 10 people to sit at the counter. Super friendly service. Highly recommended. A local treasure.

Great hole in the wall! Got the corned beef hash, sunny side up eggs, and homefries and my friends got the super breakfast. Everything was so good! Small and cozy atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff, cash only. Love Buddy's hope to go back very soon!
